Pools, Parks, and Pop

I finally made it to a Korean pool after 2 years. Well, it wasn’t even technically a pool that we made it to, but actually a fountain. I found a link for several pools along the Han River (there are 6 total)

and the one closest to us is actually a water park with slides and the whole shebang. Peyton and I headed that way with our friend Emilie. We finally made it after quite a haul from the subway and couldn’t even see the water among the mass of kids and moms. We’re wanting to try again another day and just chalked the huge crowd up to it being the Korean summer break (which consists of a whole week!). On our way tot he water park, we had passed by a ginormous fountain that had hundreds of kids playing in it. We decided to join in on the fun, since 1. it was free 2. there was room for us to have our own little bubble of space, and 3. the water was all perfectly shallow for Peyton.

I definitely recommend checking out this beautiful fountain that goes straight out to the river (go out Yeouinaru Station and exit from no. 2) Here are a few pictures:

We noticed a bunch of people with angel wings and decided to go check out what they were up to. They happened to be shooting a promo video for a new K-pop group! Ace of Angels…check out the song they were working on- (I couldn’t find the promo that we were there for but this is the actual music video)

and of course…they couldn’t get enough of Peyton once they spotted him 😉they said that we may be in the promo video…now if I could only find it! Peyton also mastered the art of splashing that day and is making full use of this knowledge at bath time!
